DIT to TU Dublin


The Dublin Institute of Technology had two big ambitions.

  1. To become Ireland’s first Technological University – the Technological University Dublin
  2. To move most of its colleges to a new state of the art, purpose-built campus in Grangegorman, Dublin.

We always love working with a client with big ambitions. And DIT certainly fitted that bill. In the time that we worked together we helped them manage the transition and realise their ambition. Along the way we also helped them recruit their intake of students through both the Open Day and CAO deadline campaigns.


Choosing a third level college is one of life’s big decisions and many leaving cert students have a good idea of what they want to study. Their decision funnel tends to be – course first, college second.


The third level education market, particularly in the Dublin area is very competitive where there are now five universities as well as multiple colleges competing for students. The Open Day campaigns were the first out each year. They had to grab attention and drive attendance.
